What a dealership asks

The ten questions the sector actually asks. Answered here, so you do not have to call and ask.

Can it tell a sales call from an aftersales call?

Yes, heydiga separates sales from aftersales from the first sentence, and that is what a dealership needs most. Workshop bookings, people interested in a car, parts and warranty queries all come in on the same number. heydiga works out what each call is about, resolves what it can and transfers or books the rest with the right department, without the customer having to repeat anything.

What happens to leads that call out of hours?

heydiga answers them just as it does during opening hours. One sales lead in four comes in with the dealership closed: in the evening, at the weekend or from a portal at eleven at night, when the buyer has time. heydiga gives the information the dealership has loaded, takes the details and books the visit or leaves the lead qualified for the salesperson to call the next day with everything.

What happens to the switchboard and customer service team?

With heydiga, the switchboard and customer service team stays where it is, with less noise. heydiga takes the repetitive work (opening hours, first round of details, the status of a workshop job) and passes on whatever needs judgement: a complaint, a negotiation, a technical case. In backup mode, heydiga only steps in when the call goes unanswered.

What details does it take from a sales lead?

heydiga takes what the salesperson needs to call: the model they are interested in, how they will pay, whether they have a vehicle to part-exchange and when they want the car, plus contact details and the lead's source. The dealership can add the fields and criteria it uses to tell the browser from the buyer, and the salesperson is alerted straight away with a summary of the conversation.

Does it connect to the dealership's CRM?

Yes. heydiga connects to the CRM the dealership already uses, such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive, and every lead comes in with all its fields and its source, not as a loose note someone has to type up. It does not replace the CRM: it uses it. The plans section shows which plans include integration with the sector's software.

Can it book a test drive?

Yes. heydiga books the test drive against the salespeople's diary and the availability of the demo cars, and the caller hangs up with a day and a time. The salesperson receives the lead with the details already taken, so they arrive at the test drive knowing which model the customer is after and how they plan to pay for it.

What are backup mode and front-line mode?

They are the two ways of connecting heydiga. In backup mode, the business keeps its current set-up and diverts to heydiga only the calls nobody picks up or that come in after hours: it captures what is lost today without touching day-to-day operations. In front-line mode, heydiga answers the main number, resolves the repetitive calls and passes to the team whatever needs them. The usual path is to start in backup mode and move to front-line mode once the business sees what it resolves.

Is it worth it if I already have someone answering the phone?

Yes, and it is the most common case when starting with heydiga. It is set up in backup mode: reception remains the first line and the agent picks up what is lost today, the after-hours calls and the ones at peak times. Once the business sees the results, it can switch to front-line mode so the agent filters out the repetitive calls and the person keeps the enquiries that add value.

Can it answer several calls at once?

Yes. heydiga answers several calls at once, with no queues and no engaged tone, so at peak times no customer is left waiting or hangs up. The plans section shows how many simultaneous calls each plan includes.

Does it work if the business has several sites?

Yes. With heydiga each site can have its own line or share a single number that routes every call to the right site. Either way, each site keeps its own calendar, opening hours and team, and what happens across all of them shows on the same dashboard. The plans section shows which plan includes bookings across sites.
