An ordinary day at the shop

The phone does not pick its moment. This is how you lose money today, and what happens with digamotor.

Today
  • You are in the spray booth and the phone rings in an empty workshop.
  • A customer asks when the assessor is coming.
  • The insurer calls about a claim and nobody can take it.
  • Somebody wants a quote for a small dent.
  • A claim comes in out of hours.
With digamotor
  • It answers on the first ring, with nobody leaving the booth.
  • They are answered with the status of the file.
  • The information is taken and goes to whoever handles that file.
  • Registration, damage and insurer are taken, and the assessment is booked.
  • It is answered, everything is taken and tomorrow it is on the desk.

We are there where you need it most

Nothing about how the shop works has to change. You just stop losing these three things.

The closed spray booth

Painting, nobody picks up the phone. It is answered anyway and no job is lost.

The claim file

It takes registration, damage, claim number and insurer. By the time you call back it is half done.

Insurer and owner mixed up

Calls from the insurer and calls from the owner go down different paths.

Prices, hours and conditions stop reaching the front desk.
When a real person is needed, the call gets through instead of getting lost.

What a body shop asks

The eight questions the sector actually asks. Answered here, so you do not have to call and ask.

What does it do with a call about an accident claim?

heydiga takes what the shop needs to get the case started: registration, vehicle, what happened and what damage there is, whether a claim has been reported, with which insurer and under what number, and whether the car is roadworthy. With that, the shop opens the file and calls back knowing what it is dealing with, instead of starting from scratch. If the claim comes in out of hours, by the next morning it is already on the desk.

Does it give a quote for a knock or a dent?

No, heydiga does not give figures for bodywork damage, because it cannot be assessed over the phone: it takes the registration, the damage and the insurer, explains how assessment works at that shop and books the appointment to look at it. It only gives prices for whatever the shop has at a fixed price. Improvising an amount ends in an argument when the car is handed back.

Can it take calls from insurers and assessors?

Yes, heydiga takes calls from insurers and assessors, and gives them priority. The usual numbers of insurers, assessors or claims handlers are flagged so they skip the customer-facing flow and go straight to the person who handles the files, not to the general counter. If that person is not available, heydiga takes the information and makes sure it reaches them.

Can it tell customers the status of the assessment?

Yes. Connected to the shop's workshop software, heydiga tells callers whether the assessor has been, whether there is authorisation and what stage the repair is at. A third of a body shop's calls are to ask exactly that, and they no longer pull anyone out of the booth. The plans section shows which plans include integration with the sector's software.

Does it handle the courtesy car?

heydiga explains the courtesy car terms the shop has loaded and takes the customer's request for the shop to confirm. It does not promise a car it does not know is free: it records the request so whoever handles the file can respond.

Can it transfer the call to someone on the team?

Yes, heydiga transfers the call to a person when needed, along with what has been said so far, so the customer does not have to repeat it. The business decides which number or extension it goes to and in which cases: when the customer asks, complaints, sensitive matters or any other case it defines.

What does the voice agent do if it does not know the answer to a question?

heydiga does not improvise: it never makes up a price, an opening time or an appointment. When a question falls outside what it has been given, it says so and transfers the call to the business's team or takes a message, which arrives straight away. Everything it could not resolve is logged and helps widen what it can handle.

Does it let customers know when the vehicle is ready, or follow up?

Yes. As well as answering calls, digamotor calls or messages to say the car is ready for collection, confirm the next day's appointment, remind customers of a service that is due or follow up after a repair.
